African Fashion Week

On October 14, 2024, the Inside Out Clothing Project graced the catwalk at the African Fashion Week London (AFWL) showcase held at the U.S. Embassy in London. This landmark event celebrated cultural heritage, innovation, and empowerment, and Inside Out proudly stood at the intersection of these themes.

Our designers, young talents shaping their futures through sustainable fashion, saw their unique creations come to life on the runway. Each piece told a story of resilience and creativity, embodying the transformative mission of Inside Out to empower first-time ex-offenders through design.

The catwalk was not just a display of fashion—it was a celebration of hope, second chances, and the power of community. Inside Out’s participation added a meaningful dimension to the evening, showcasing the potential of fashion to inspire and uplift.
